Hi! I’m Kristin, most of my family and close friends call me K. I was born in Illinois and grew up most of my life in a small town in the Central Valley of California. You know, where the corn grows tall, a two-lane highway maps out the town, and the strong smell of cow lingers throughout the air.  I start with that because I never thought I would end up where I am now… Southern California.

After living in LA for a few years, pursuing acting and voice overs, I met my husband, who lived in…Orange County. I was one of those people who said I would never live in Orange County…The freeways and traffic are so overwhelming, everyone is in a hurry, and the thought of having to “look perfect” just didn’t appeal to me. Soooo here I am in “The OC.”

When I first moved here, I thought I would never fit in or find friends who were down-to-earth and real. Well, I was wrong.  God humbled my heart towards the judgements I had about Orange County and I have found the most beautiful people I am honored and blessed to call friends. Through finding such incredible girlfriends I started getting super passionate about sharing God’s word with other women and encouraging them to find others to walk life alongside.

I truly believe that God calls us to live in community with others.  And I feel blessed to have found my “people.” I love reading God’s word and sharing his promises and truths with others. There’s a profound joy in seeing women be encouraged through the hope and truth of God’s word. The bible has changed me and my hope and prayer is you will find it can change you too!

I am married to my best friend Joe and we have two sweet kiddos-Sawyer and Avenley. You can usually find me with my family or friends. I love community. My husband and I are a part of a supper club, we love to eat at cool restaurants or make fun, new foods. We both love gardening-or at least trying to… it’s so neat to see the seeds we sow turn into these beautiful plants that produce food!! Most of all I simply love being at home with my family-maybe even snuggled up with a good book, coffee, and a roaring fire in the fireplace. I wish it could be fall every day of the year (like the real fall you find in the mid-west) and I am slightly obsessed with all things pumpkin.
